Shape and influence safety‑critical operations by applying human factors expertise in high‑hazard environments. Take ownership of key initiatives that enhance performance, learning and risk management.

• British nationality required
• Post‑graduate degree in Human Factors or Ergonomics accredited by the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors
• Experience managing human performance and risk assessments for safety‑critical tasks

Up to £65,000 with an excellent pension (employer contributions 26–30%).

• Provide human factors support for inspections, audits, risk assessments and safety‑critical projects
• Develop and deliver training, policy, procedures and guidance on human factors integration
• Drive continuous improvement in health, safety and environmental performance
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and enhance standards

• Human factors‑based risk assessment techniques, particularly safety‑critical task analysis
• Integration of human factors risk into general health, safety and environmental protection
• Experience in high‑hazard environments
• Strong technical and behavioural capability in safety‑critical operations
