Head of Network and BOS Consulting – Ericsson

Ericsson is looking for a highly experienced Techno‑Operational Consulting Leader to lead the NW & BOS Transformation Consulting practice and to be part of the Global Consulting Leadership Team that drives business and offerings across Ericsson.

Location:

India (IN) || Gurgaon. Travel: up to 50% based on business needs.

• Drive global P&L and define objectives of NW & BOS Transformation Consulting domain.
• Identify, develop and manage portfolio of leading NW & BOS Transformation Consulting offerings.
• Identify Consulting opportunities by working with tech professionals – Sales and Solution Architects.
• Nurture and convert opportunities while contributing actively to consulting proposals.
• Guide / Lead delivery of consulting projects / programs across the globe.
• Engage as thought leader at CxO level.
• Lead NW & BOS Transformation consulting team comprising senior members.
• Manage stakeholders in Consulting communities across geographies.
• Actively contribute outside your domain to reach overall business objectives.

• Autonomous networks e2e methodology, orchestration & automation transformation – operational impacts, program delivery.
• 5G Core – technology evolution towards 5G, SA deployment options, end‑to‑end evolution beyond Core, RAN, network‑element virtualization.
• Telco Cloud transformation – virtualization & cloud native, cloud operating models, CICD/Dev Ops, business implications of 5G Core migration.
• Operational transformation – defining operating model for 5G evolution, processes, metrics, OSS systems knowledge.
• Agile methodologies & Dev Ops culture.
• OSS systems & support strategies – orchestration solutions, automation, analytics, open‑source communities.
• Standards – TOGAF, ITIL, TMF TAM/SID/ODA.
• Telco Cloud technology – containers, microservices, MEC, reference architectures.

• 15+ years of professional experience including demonstrated ability to sell and deliver consulting projects.
• Proven capability to sell and deliver Core / Technology / Operational Consulting projects with business mindset.
• Previous experience leading Consulting business, Consulting practice and Consulting teams, including P&L accountability.
• Sound technical knowledge across Core, Cloud, RAN, Telco Orchestration, and B/OSS Transformation domains.
• Sound delivery skills – create plans, align strategies, formulate transformation journeys, storytelling, influencing.
• Strong people and team leadership – coaching, individual development, team growth, operational management.
• Excellent oral and written communication, high orientation to innovation and learning.
• Experience in international and cross‑cultural environments selling and delivering complex engagements.
• Results‑oriented and commercial thinking.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering;
  Master’s in Business preferred.

• Global role with international travel based on customer demand.
• Accountable for P&L and portfolio development for the NW & BOS area.
