IT​/Tech Technician, IT Support

Join a leading independent technology and services provider as a Technician 2!Job Overview:We are seeking a Technician 2 to support hardware deployment and laptop refresh activities. The role involves hands-on technical support, device configuration, and coordination with onsite teams to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.

• Location:
  Salisbury SP4 0JG
• Daily Rate:
  An hourly rate, in-scope IR35, of £14.54 (PAYE) OR £18.87 per hour (via a Hays Approved Umbrella Company).
• Contract Length: 26-Jan-2026 to 03-Mar-2026
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30 - 17:00)

Key Responsibilities Tech2 engineer required to carry out on site deployment of new devices and store legacy devices.Key Requirements

• Must have SC Clearance
• Experience in IT hardware handling and refresh processes.
• Ability to follow structured migration schedules and instructions.
• Familiarity with workflow management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good communication and issue reporting capabilities.
