We are looking for a reliable, experienced, and highly organised Part‑Time Bookkeeper to manage our daily financial records.

Key qualifications:
Hands‑on experience with Sage accounting software is essential. This position offers flexible working hours and is ideal for someone seeking a long‑term commitment. We offer 16 hours across 2 days (or more flexible schedule if necessary).

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing all aspects of the purchase ledger and sales ledger.
  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly using Sage
    .
  • Performing bank reconciliation on a regular basis.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns (knowledge of MTD highly desirable).
  • Processing credit card expenses.
  • Assisting with month‑end and year‑end procedures.
  • Maintaining an organised system of financial records and documents.
  • Mandatory: Demonstrable proficiency with Sage 50 Accounts or similar Sage products. (Candidates without this experience will not be considered).
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
