Job Description

Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Manager (Land Development Site/Civil Engineer) for its fast-paced Electric Vehicle (EV) and Autonomous Vehicle (AV) nationwide program. This position requires a minimum of 8 years of experience and expertise in civil design of land development activities including: layout of electric vehicle charging stations, facility assessment, parking lot and ADA design, radius turn design of grading, storm water management, soil erosion & sediment control, public and private roadways, storm drainage and water & sewer design.

The selected candidate will become part of a team that provides complete, comprehensive land development services nationwide to our commercial and federal clients. This position requires subject matter knowledge and breadth/depth experience to move projects from concept to completion including design work, plan and permit processing, and construction phase services.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation and coordination of all Land Development design aspects for EV and AV charging stations and hubs.
• Initial design concepts and project proposals.
• Coordination with vendors and subcontractors.
• Works closely with Senior Project Manager and program leadership.
• Coordination and technical responses to AJH required for permitting.
• Client reporting and management and project budget oversight.
• Ability to effectively communicate with and train junior staff.
