VP, DMM Women's Shoes

For our client, we are seeking a VP, DMM Women's Shoes to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This leader will oversee merchandise strategy for a high-visibility women's footwear category, driving assortment direction, brand partnerships, and execution across buying, planning, and marketing functions. The role is responsible for aligning product selection and commercial strategy to customer demand, financial goals, and brand positioning. It also requires close collaboration with cross-functional partners to optimize performance and support growth in a competitive retail environment.

Compensation: $241,000 – $312,000 annually

• Collaborate with brand partnerships and buying leaders on category-specific strategies
• Orchestrate merchandise strategy execution with buying, planning, and marketing teams
• Ensure product assortments meet category strategies and customer demand
• Analyze product performance to optimize growth strategies
• Support vendor negotiations to develop partnerships and align business goals
• Collaborate on pre-season and in-season roadmaps to meet financial targets
• Develop private label programs to promote key brands

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in retail merchandising and buying, particularly in footwear
• Strong leadership skills for team alignment and business objectives
• Experience in brand negotiations and vendor management
• Deep understanding of retail merchandising and planning processes
• Strong financial acumen for managing pricing and promotions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
