* The AI workforce layer underneath every Build Matix product and solution
* Orchestration between specialized agents, and the handoffs between them
* The permission and approval boundaries that decide what an agent may do alone
* Evaluation and observability, so agent behavior in production is measurable rather than assumed## Responsibilities
* Design AI-agent architectures
* Build tool-enabled AI workers
* Implement agent handoffs and orchestration
* Develop context and memory strategies
* Create permission and approval boundaries
* Integrate AI systems with workflows and external applications
* Build evaluation and reliability frameworks
* Implement observability for agent behavior
* Collaborate with product and software engineers
* Improve production AI performance and reliability## Required qualifications
* Strong software engineering background
* Experience building production LLM/AI applications
* Python and/or Type Script
* API development and integration experience
* Understanding of agent and tool-calling patterns
* Strong knowledge of distributed application architecture
* Experience with databases and structured data
* Ability to design reliable production systems## Preferred qualifications
* Multi-agent systems
* RAG and retrieval systems
* Workflow engines
* Cloud infrastructure
* Evaluation frameworks
