Trust Think is seeking a talented Java Software Engineer to support the development and modernization of software systems for a classified government program.
The ideal candidate has strong experience developing Java-based applications and modern web interfaces using React. This position involves designing, developing, integrating, and maintaining software that interacts with complex systems and networked infrastructure.
Experience with network management technologies, including NETCONF, RESTCONF, and SNMP, is highly desirable but not required.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based software applications and services.
- Develop and enhance web-based user interfaces using React.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Support integration with networked systems, devices, and management interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, integration issues, and performance problems.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and software integration activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation.
- Proficiency in Java software development.
- Experience developing web applications using React
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, including Git, debugging, testing, and continuous integration.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to meet applicable security clearance requirements.
- Experience with NETCONF, RESTCONF, and/or SNMP.
- Familiarity with YANG data models and network device configuration or management.
- Experience developing network management, monitoring, or automation applications.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, and related data serialization formats.
