Laser Operator

LASER OPERATORS REQUIRED IN CHESHIRE!!!

Do you have previous experience operating a CNC Laser machine and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area?! If so get in touch with me today as we are recruiting 2 Laser Operators on a permanent contract.

The annual salary will depend on your experience, but the basic salary would be anything between £27,347 - £35,568 per annum, and you would be required to work a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern (38 hours per week).

Overtime opportunities are available and are paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours, and this business also offers a £2,000 new starter incentive bonus which is a staggered payment.

The hiring manager would prefer someone who has worked on a Trumpf Laser, but they are open to looking at people who have worked on an Amada Laser.

An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.

What You Will Do:

Operate Trumpf CNC laser machines with precision and efficiency.
Interpret technical drawings and CAD layouts to ensure accurate cutting processes.
Perform basic mechanical maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Maintain a strong focus on quality and detail in every task.
Utilise Trumpf software, such as Tru Tops and Boost, to optimise work flows.
What You Will Bring:

Proven experience in operating CNC laser machines.
Strong understanding of laser cutting processes and steel materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with confidence.
Practical, hands-on skills and attention to detail.
Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering or Manufacturing (preferred).
