• Operate Trumpf CNC laser machines with precision and efficiency.
• Interpret technical drawings and CAD layouts to ensure accurate cutting processes.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a strong focus on quality and detail in every task.
• Utilise Trumpf software, such as Tru Tops and Boost, to optimise workflows.

• Proven experience in operating CNC laser machines.
• Strong understanding of laser cutting processes and steel materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with confidence.
• Practical, hands‑on skills and attention to detail.
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering or Manufacturing (preferred).

The basic salary ranges from £27,347 to £35,568 per annum, depending on experience. The position is a permanent contract on a 6:2/2:10 shift pattern (38 hours per week). Overtime is paid at T1/3 after 39 hours and T1/2 after 48 hours. A £2,000 new‑starter incentive bonus is offered as a staggered payment.
