General Manager For Restaurant

Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced organized and passionate General Manager to join their upmarket restaurant in Sandton as soon as possible.

Applicants must have advanced operational and administrative restaurant knowledge with the ability to easily implement and maintain operational procedures.

Strong customer relations staff management and training skills are crucial to this role.

Candidates must be trustworthy and have a long working history at previous employers.

References need to be provided as they will be checked.

• Overall daily running of restaurant
• Implement and maintain BOH & FOH procedures
• Implement and maintain administrative procedures
• Control operational costs
• Identify measures to cut waste
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Ensure the highest sanitation and hygiene standards
• Enforce compliance with safety and sanitation regulations

• No less than 5 years experience as a General Manager at a restaurant
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of restaurant software systems
• Extensive experience in managing FOH & BOH staff

R25000 - R35 000 pm depending on candidates skills knowledge and experience
