C# Web Developer Front-End (Intermediate to senior) – 2 positions available [30 – 40 CTC]

Candidate needs to be familiar with and have demonstrable in:

• Working within MVC solutions in Visual Studio.
• Working with MVC Views using Razor.
• Working with Java script,
  JQUERY and CSS to manipulate HTML elements.
• Producing visually attractive, stylish and functional Web sites with HTML and Java script.
• Working with Java script and JQUERY to manipulate and communicate with MVC controllers.

Skillsets that are not useful in this role

• PHP
• Back-End Developer
• Wordpress
• No experience outside working with available libraries (e.t.c boostrap, razor), raw Java script and CSS is used.

Important:

• No full stack developers
• No SharePoint developers.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Internship or college work must not count towards work experience.
• Candidates must have been at their previous position for at minimum 3 years.
• Minimum experience is 5 years.
• Must be skilled in raw HTML, JQUERY and CSS.
• Majority of recent work experience should be in these technologies.
• Candidates must have worked in MVC in their recent position at minimum.
• Candidates solely reliant on Bootstrap and Angular
  
  JS will not cope in this environment.

Candidates goals

• Candidate need to have a keen eye and passion for visual web design.
• Candidate should not be “Full Stack” or want to work within both Front and Back end.

• Candidate should have a stable employment history and should not be changing jobs every 2 years (excluding contract roles).

Type of person

• Candidate needs to be able to communicate clearly, this needs to be a bright, smart person.
• Candidate needs to be a self-starter and should be able to follow instructions clearly and be able to complete tasks with minimal oversight.
• Candidate should be used to asking questions, investigating and understanding their project fully.
