Location: Sandwich, Kent
Nonstop's client, a small organisation in the Southeast, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join as Director of Children's Services/Responsible Individual.
This pivotal role oversees the Registered Managers for both an Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) and a Children's Residential Home, supporting service growth while ensuring high-quality, therapeutic care.
Working closely with the Director, you will oversee day-to-day operations and play a key role in shaping the organisation's future through strong leadership and expertise.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the Registered Managers of both the IFA and Children's Residential Home
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and uphold the organisation's model of care
- Provide guidance, supervision, and empowerment to managers to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people
- Contribute to service development and expansion plans
- Build and maintain strong relationships with foster carers, staff, and external stakeholders
- Oversee day-to-day operations across both services
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and management experience preferably within children's social care (IFA, residential, or related setting)
- Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to support and empower managers
- Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, policies, and procedures
- Commercial and business-development mindset to support service growth
- Values-driven approach aligned with the organisation's ethos
- Willingness to travel to the children's home and head office as required
