Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are looking for a detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to support day-to-day financial operations for a Long-term Contract position based in Sanford, Florida. This opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage accounting activities independently, maintain accurate records, and keep financial processes running smoothly. The role requires strong experience with Quick Books and a solid grasp of both payables and receivables.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete bookkeeping cycle, ensuring financial records are accurate, current, and well-organized.
- Process vendor invoices and issue payments on time while maintaining proper documentation for accounts payable activity.
- Prepare customer invoices, record incoming payments, and follow up on outstanding balances related to accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts regularly and investigate discrepancies to maintain dependable financial reporting.
- Enter and review transactions in Quick Books, keeping the general ledger aligned with daily business activity.
- Support month-end closing tasks by verifying account balances and preparing financial information for review.
