Forklift​/General Labour

We’re seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Sarnia, ON. This is a full-time opportunity in a fast-paced, secure warehouse environment.

Key Requirements:

Ability to work the 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. day shift or 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m shift

On-call rotation every three weeks

Minimum of one year Forklift experience

Previous warehousing experience is an asset

Ability to load and unload a variety of goods/cargo from transportation shipping containers

Ability to pick or pull cargo from warehouse and prepare it for safe transport

Ability to communicate with coworkers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse

Ability to lift up to 40lbs

A valid forklift ticket/certification is required

A positive and open personality with a “Can-Do” attitude

Demonstrated ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide

Great work ethic – a person who takes pride in being reliable, committed and dependable

Must be able to pass a clearance application through the Canada Border Services

Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials

Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets

Inspect and maintain the forklift equipment

Follow all safety guidelines and protocols

Keep accurate records of inventory and materials movement. Process payments through a POS system

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Experience:

Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or industrial setting

Valid forklift certification or license

Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for operating a forklift

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management
