Support accurate freight handling at The Home Depot as a Receiving Associate, using shipping and receiving skills with powered lift equipment.
This associate unloads carriers, checks merchandise quantity and quality, and enters incoming information into store systems. The role requires attention to detail, procedure following, and a high work commitment. You will stock merchandise, organize freight, and help customers identify products and locations. Picking orders may also be assigned through the Order Fulfillment Application.
Key Responsibilities:- Unload inbound freight using designated equipment
- Compare shipping documents with purchase orders
- Enter merchandise information into receiving systems
- Stock products and maintain organized overheads
- Greet customers and determine project needs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year receiving experience
- Powered lift equipment licensing required
- Attention to detail and procedural accuracy
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
