Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of skilled construction labour tasks independently.
  • Operate advanced power tools and machinery, including (but not limited to) jackhammers, concrete mixers, compactors, and power saws.
  • Assist in site preparation, material handling, demolition, excavation, concrete work, and other assigned tasks.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, hazard controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance.
  • Identify potential safety risks and report or correct them immediately.
  • Provide support, direction, and informal training to junior labourers.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient and organized job site.
Skills And Experience
  • Several years (3–5+) experience as a construction labourer or similar role.
  • Proven ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions.
  • Competence with hand and power tools and measurement instruments.
  • Strong understanding of safety policies and safe working practices.
  • Detail oriented, accurate, and effective communicator with strong ethic.
