Based out of Saskatoon, supporting Northern Saskatchewan Projects Fly In Fly Out Camp accommodation provided.
Rotation (2 weeks in-2 weeks out, 11 hours a day)

The Field Superintendent has primary responsibility to ensure contractors within their area are working in a safe manner abiding by all safety program requirements
Role Accountabilities:
Review and/or develop detailed work plans according workface planning processesIn some instances, the Field Superintendent may perform supervision of direct field labor on mechanical/piping scopes of work ensuring the work is completed safely and to a high quality standardIn some instances, the Field Superintendent will oversee the contractor’s activities of a mechanical/piping nature confirming the work is completed safely and according to all contract requirementsInspections of completed work to confirm it is completed to appropriate standards, identifying deficiencies and managing the completion of deficienciesMonitoring the schedule and productivity of work and work collaboratively with the contractor and operations personnel to resolve issues and barriersDaily validation and approval of contractor submitted labor, equipment and material reportsResponsible to coordinate field activities between contractors and the operations team as requiredQualifications
10+ years of previous experience with multi-discipline mechanical work (mechanical equipment, piping)CSO designation requiredJourneyperson status in Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical is requiredPrevious experience in a brown field construction environment is requiredBoilermaker and/or tank experience would be an asset
