This position will report directly to the Director, Engineering.
Title and banding will be determined based on the education and experience of the applicant.
What you will do:
Develop a Hoists and Shafts Integrity Program.Support for hoisting equipment and activities.Support for hoist maintenance activities.Develop methods for improved hoisting efficiency.Hoisting Metrics and KPI development and monitoring.Provide assistance in Incident Investigations within hoisting discipline.This role includes travel to our Potash Mine Sites, some instances involving overnight stays.What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical) preferred, or a equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Must be registered member of APEGS, with their Professional Engineer designation.Minimum 8 years’ experience, preferably with 2-3 years focus on hoist systems..Knowledgeable on the electrical/mechanical components of hoisting systems.Familiar with all standards, codes, and regulations associated with hoists.Ready to make an impact with us?
