We are currently seeking a qualified Engineering Manager / Project Technical Manager (PTM) to join our Mining Division team, based out of Saskatoon, SK. The PTM will be responsible for guiding an owner’s multi-discipline engineering team to deliver safe, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions for complex heavy industrial projects. As the PTM, you’ll ensure technical integrity, align with program priorities, and drive collaboration across engineering, procurement, and construction.
Join Bantrel and work with K+S Potash (KSPC) as an Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), to expand the KSPC Bethune Potash Mine in near Moose Jaw Saskatchewan from 2.2 to 3.0M tonnes per annum over the next 5 years. The final production capacity is intended to grow over decades to 4M tonnes per year, doubling the current production output of potash.
Key personnel will support the project from Saskatoon and Bethune, with additional support staff supporting from Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto. Join us in this full-time permanent role

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership and oversight for assigned projects within the KSPC Ramp Up Program.
- Ensure compliance with project execution plans, specifications, design criteria standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate Approve engineering deliverables / technical bid evaluations, resolve technical issues, and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with Project Engineering Managers, Operations, and Supply Chain teams.
- Champion safety in design and uphold health, safety, and environmental objectives.
- Guide technical decision making in line with project priorities / principles and enforce Technical Delegation of Authority
- 10–20 years of heavy industrial engineering experience, including at least one project assignment as a lead engineer either in consulting or owners team project.
- Proven ability to build and lead multi-discipline engineering teams.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in Saskatchewan (APEGS required).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with potash projects and a mix of consulting and owner’s teamwork experience is an asset.
