Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Solution Architect to lead solution design and implementation across the Acquire to Retire (AR), Finance to Procure (FP), and EH&S domains. This role is responsible for architecting and delivering SAP solutions that meet business requirements, ensure strong systems integration, and follow best practices while enhancing the end-user experience.
Responsibilities
Lead ERP functional solution design in the Acquire to Retire domain.
Collaborate with system integrators, business stakeholders, and project teams to ensure solutions meet requirements, follow best practices, and drive business value.
Define functional requirements, configuration rationale, and functional specifications. Validate proposed development estimates.
Own solution design and oversee development to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Develop and/or review test plans, validate results, and ensure solutions respond effectively to business demands.
Provide escalation support to managed services teams when required and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Partner with stakeholders to determine the optimal approach for functionality from financial, architectural, and operational perspectives.
Qualifications
– years of hands-on SAP functional solution design and delivery experience.
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Deep expertise in SAP EPPM (Enterprise Project Portfolio Management), SAP Investment Management, SAP Project Systems, and SAP EAM/Plant Maintenance.
Experience integrating SAP PS with scheduling tools (, Oracle Primavera P, MS Project).
Strong knowledge of capital project planning, execution, and best practices in process-oriented industries.
Expertise in SAP integration across Finance and Controlling (maintenance costing, project costing, asset accounting, general ledger, cost settlement, reporting).
Knowledge of SAP S/HANA EAM/Plant Maintenance, Intelligent Asset Management, Fleet Management, Asset Performance Management, Maintenance Scheduling, and Mobility Solutions (SAP RSH, SAM, FSM, Prometheus, MCI Track Invoice).
Familiarity with maintenance work management integration with sourcing, procurement, and MRO spare parts planning.
Experience with SAP Project Systems integration for Turnarounds, Shutdowns, and Outages.
Exposure to SAP EH&S (including Maintenance Safety / e-Permitting and Management of Change for process safety).
SAP module certifications considered an asset.
Proven history of designing complex SAP solutions enabling unique business processes.
Experience in SAP development estimation and best-practice solution delivery.
Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work independently and in team environments.
Results-oriented and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
