Position: Front End UI/UX Developer - CONTRACT
Front End UI/UX Developer (CONTRACT)
Responsibilities
Conduct research to learn about users, both exploratory and evaluative research to uncover user problems and test solutions. Learn about users needs and wants to inform designs on the ideal digital interactionsPropose design decisions and obtain approval with the support of the project team. Designs can be illustrated though artifacts such as interface design, wireframes, interactive mockups, and other documentationBuild designs and ensure quality of design. Collaborate with technical experts to ensure integration of front-end with back-endTake ownership of other assigned tasksSubmit Timesheets and Company Time Tracking on a weekly basisAdherence to established SOP and ensure all deliverables are compliant with Company standards and practicesParticipate in the design and development process following SDLC requirements and standardsContribute ideas on improving development activitiesProvide post-implementation support analyzing system issues in a timely mannerProvide training and knowledge transfer on implemented technologies to Company staffActivate participation in the project and team meetings, including with business leads and other areas of IT
Key Deliverables
Conducting research and usability testing to ensure all designs meet requirements, optimizing services and products for a range of customers, and developing mockups for the design and development teamsBuild UI to implement approved designsEnsure quality of deliverables, including meeting requirements, is scalable, and follows Company standards and aligns with industry practicesEnsure design complies with brand requiresProvide accurate work estimates to inform project timelines. Ensure deliverables meet agreed-to project timelinesDocument current processes where appropriate.Provide Knowledge Transfer to Team.Required Skills
Understands human-computer interaction designExtensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutionsPractioner of mobile-first and user centred designExperience in applying user experience design fundamentals, such as rules of typography and data visualization techniquesAble to identify UX design needs, develop and conceptualize UI/UX design strategies to achieve digital humanism to address the needs of customers and achive organization goalsExperience in producing high-quality UX designs using wireframes, flow diagrams, graphic and visual design, sitemaps, prototypes, and storyboards, etc.Able to derive technical requirements from business requirements. Translating requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfacesAdvanced skills in documentation, presentation to senior leadership, knowledge transfer and training to teamExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAble to collobrate with business leads and other IT teamsExperience with HTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery)Prefer to have experience with C#/MVC/RazorExperience developing and testing UI elements in a .NET environment
