We are currently recruiting a Labourer to work with Technical Workforce Inc. at our Shop and Yard in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

As a Shop and Yard Labourer you will be responsible for:

  • Performing general labour duties within the shop.
  • Organizing equipment and supplies.
  • Loading and unloading equipment.
  • Organizing and maintaining yard.
  • Installing safety fences and railings.
  • Identifying appropriate tools for necessary tasks.
  • Handling all power tools.
  • Identifying and reporting hazardous or unsafe areas.
  • Supporting inventory management and organization of parts and materials.
  • Using basic computer programs to catalog and track inventory.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the yard.
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Utilizing computer systems for data entry, inventory tracking, and parts management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a labourer in a shop setting.
  • Strong computer skills including data entry, inventory management, familiarity with parts person programs.
  • Excellent soft skills: personable, approachable, ability to work well with others, strong organizational skills.
  • Construction experience – 1 year (preferred).
  • Driving licence (required).
  • Experience operating a Skidsteer or Zoom Boom (preferred but not required).
