We differentiate from other products in our space through machine learning, artificial intelligence, and creative algorithms, delivering huge accuracy, coverage, and speed advantages.

This position is located in brand-new and state-of-the-art offices at Innovation Place in Saskatoon, SK, Canada. You will be working onsite with the software development team while we bring new solutions from the napkin to our customers’ environment. You’ll join whiteboarding sessions to understand feature requirements, help guide the team to build testable code, run prototypes in real customer environments, stand up test suites, and make sure that our solutions are correct and easy to use.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Frequent communication with the software development and field teams to ensure alignment of customer needs.
  • Create, develop, and maintain automated test cases and test suites to prevent regressions and improve test efficiency, focusing on real-world design scenarios.
  • Manually test new software features, identifying gaps our software developers miss.
  • Use Solido Design Environment as a designer to evaluate usability and identify enhancements.
  • Ensure software accuracy and quality across Functionality, Usability, Reliability, Performance, and Supportability (FURPS).
  • Analyze test results and customer-reported defects, diagnose root causes, and collaborate with developers on resolutions.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, validation workflows, and release readiness within an Agile process.
  • Improve the efficiency of existing test suites by identifying the minimal setup to achieve the desired test coverage.
  • Champion a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working independently or within a team. You are proud of your work and take ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Strong programming and software testing skills, with emphasis on Python and object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Experience with manual testing of complex desktop applications and familiarity with GUI testing principles, UX design considerations, and related tools (e.g., Qt, Squish, Selenium).
  • Good knowledge of AI, ML, LLM, and API testing concepts.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, SKILL) and working with Linux environments, version control systems (e.g., Git), and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Good understanding of test automation, regression prevention, and software quality assurance methodologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through clear documentation, written test plans, bug reproduction steps, Jira issue comments, and team collaboration.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to prioritize based on impact and ROI.
  • Must be available to work from our Saskatoon facility.
