Cox O&M is seeking DCS Operator for Operations teams at the Jafurah Desalination Plant.

These roles are strong operation activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and high-quality plant operations, and supporting the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

• Perform routine inspections and operational checks of equipment across the plant (pumps, valves, filters, dosing systems).
• Operate and monitor the plant through the Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring stable and efficient process control.
• Respond to alarms, process deviations, and emergencies in real time.
• Coordinate with field operators to validate system readings and execute operational procedures.
• Manage startup, shutdown, and cleaning sequences from the control room.
• Monitor chemical dosing rates, water quality parameters, and system performance.
• Maintain detailed operational logs, shift reports, and event records.
• Support troubleshooting and collaborate with maintenance teams during equipment interventions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Participate in operational audits, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Technical diploma in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial disciplines.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in control room operations, DCS, Scada preferably in desalination or water treatment.
• Strong knowledge of DCS systems
  , process instrumentation, and operational procedures.
• Familiarity with field operations and ability to support field teams when required.
• Understanding of chemical dosing
  , water quality control, and environmental compliance.
• English proficiency is mandatory;
  Arabic is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in industrial operations, preferably in water treatment or desalination.
• Comfortable working in remote area.
• Ability to work in shifts and under demanding operational conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and reporting skills.
