PURPOSE OF THE JOB
They contributes to Train Lab preparation and operation:
Secure Train Lab readiness :
Hardware installation, integration and commissioning.
Prepares Train Lab configuration for test execution.
Supports test teams during test execution insuring availability of the functional test means..
Execute train level functional test by delegation from TVE when applicable
Scope is extended to other functional test means:
Co-simulation computers and TCMS Testbench

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance Measurement/KPI’s
Measure the maturity and the readiness of the Train Lab at each GR.
Functional Coverage of the Train Lab at each validation campaign (with TVE)
Delivery On time configuration of the Train Lab
Train Lab efficiency on test execution: % of time used for test execution > 90%
Train Lab efficiency on test execution: % of time used for test execution > 90%
Time to implement 1 new configuration Time to start the Trainlab
Responsibilities
100% compliant with EHS rules (in particular regarding activities performed on Train Lab and Test Bench)
Collect the inputs for Test means configurations and analyse their quality
Test means applicable configuration definition
Train LV schematics
Train equipment models :
Basic functional models (from TC)
Software in the Loop + Environmental Models
Hardware in the Loop
TCMS software and associated deliverables (ICD)
Development of environmental models
Preparation of Train Lab:
Subsystem hardware Integrations, Commissioning of uLab and guest cubicles, Network deployment with IS&T.
Generate the configurations for the functional Test means and verify coherence with TCR (Target Configuration Release) and Train Needs.
Perform specific investigations and measurements linked to Train Lab environment and contribute to continuous improvement of tools: LV modeling, equipment modeling, configuration tools
Support the TE during test execution (might be 3
* 8 work) and provide analysis for the anomalies detected during test (Subsystem anomaly, Train Lab limitation, Configuration Issue, etc).
Execute train level functional test by delegation from TVE when applicable
Support CE and SE during system commissioning and investigation activities.
Compile & sustain the standard documentation for configuration generation
Support deployment and animation of Test means performance KPI
Support the test engineer on report creation and TPRs analysis.
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
Educational Requirements
Engineering school
Master of Science (Engineering, Physical Sciences or others)
Desirable:
Railway engineering
Systems engineering
Experience
Practical knowledge of validation Means (Testbench, simulators…)
Practical experience on software integration & validation phases (minimum of 2 years’ experience in Railway or Health, Defence, Aeronautical, Automotive domains).
Desirable:
Practical knowledge of validation methods (boundary tests, equivalent class tests…)
Practical knowledge of validation tools (Test Stand, model-based testing tools…)
