A leading academic institution in Zürich is seeking a motivated PhD student for a fully funded position focused on studying epigenomic diversity and altitude adaptation in the alpine plant Arabis alpina. The candidate will work under Dr. Thanvi Srikant within the Plant Ecological Genetics group. Responsibilities include analyzing genomic data and conducting experiments related to plant adaptation. Required skills include a background in Plant Biology, bioinformatics experience, and fluency in English.

The position starts in August 2026.
