ZTE is seeking an experienced NPO Expert specializing in 5G NSA optimization to lead network performance improvement initiatives. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal coverage, capacity, and user experience across large-scale 5G deployments.

As a 5G NSA NPO Expert, you will assist in formulating network optimization strategies, review subcontractor plans, and implement advanced tuning techniques for 5G NSA networks. You will analyze KPIs, troubleshoot interworking issues, and optimize coverage based on drive test results and user feedback. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to high-impact projects in Indonesia’s growing telecom sector.

• Assist in developing network optimization plans for 5G NSA coverage, capacity, and anchor-secondary cell strategies
• Review subcontractor test plans and reports, ensuring inclusion of critical KPIs (EN-DC availability, SCG setup success rate, mobility performance)
• Analyze and resolve optimization issues such as NSA anchor selection, SCG failures, and inter-RAT handover imbalance
• Monitor optimization results, including throughput, ENDC ratios, and SCell utilization
• Implement initial tuning (PCI planning, SSB coverage, beam optimization, NSA threshold tuning, A1/A2/A3/A5 events for ENDC)
• Optimize coverage and improve KPIs based on drive test results and user complaints
• Formulate solutions for 5G NSA experience issues (low ENDC ratio, unstable SCG, poor throughput in hotspots)

• Minimum 5 years of wireless optimization experience on projects with 1000+ sites
• Hands-on expertise in 5G NSA optimization (ENDC configuration, SCG mobility, NSA parameter tuning, beam/SSB optimization, KPI analysis)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Technology, Telecommunications, or Electronics Engineering
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Vendor 5G optimization certification (Huawei HCIP-5G NPO, Ericsson 5G Radio Training, ZTE 5G NPO) is an advantage

• Experience with Huawei, Ericsson, or ZTE optimization projects
• Strong troubleshooting skills for interworking and mobility issues
• Familiarity with advanced KPI analysis and reporting tools
• Ability to manage subcontractor performance and ensure compliance
• Knowledge of drive test tools and post-processing software
