Pipeline Technology Equipment Technician

Worldwide

• Ensure the working status of the pipeline main line equipment during the project execution and during project preparation, installation and start up

• Perform the electrical/mechanical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements
• Perform electrical connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets, and any other electrical apparatus
• Ability in read technical drawings schematics (i.e., line diagram, electrical scheme, basic hydraulic diagrams), assuring that the equipment's are installed/connected as per intent
• Verify the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions, reporting any anomalies to pipeline technologies engineer. Assure a correct storage of the spare parts and verification of their compatibility with the installations
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as Multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility, integrity, and safety of system

• Experience in electro-mechanical trouble shooting for welding (Automatic welding system) and for FJC (experience on coating systems)
• Practical experience with Lincoln, Miller brands preferred
• Practical experience with Straaltecknieek, SAIP, IHW brands preferred
• Valid offshore certificates

• 12 months – renewable
