Accounts Assistant – Edenbridge

£25,000–£30,000 + benefits | Full-time, 8:30–5:00

This is a hands-on Accounts Assistant role with a strong focus on the purchase ledger, offering exposure to Sage, a brand-new SIMPRO system, and the chance to support a busy, evolving finance team. If you’re organised, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of key accounts processes, this could be your next move.

Key responsibilities:

* Process supplier invoices in Sage & SIMPRO

* Reconcile statements, run monthly creditor reports, prepare supplier payments

* Manage sales invoices, customer statements, and chase payments

* Set up new customers and complete credit checks

* Support vehicle admin (MOTs, road tax, fuel cards)

* Provide cover for payroll, remittances, and CFO support during leave

You’ll need:

* Experience in an Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger role

* Strong knowledge of Sage

* Exposure to SIMPRO advantageous

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

* Confident communicator with the ability to work as part of a team

* Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
