Location: Sevenoaks & Tunbridge Wells
Contract: Bank
Hourly Rate: £13.20 per hour + holiday pay
Shifts Available: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 8:00pm

Role Overview

As a Bank Care Support Worker at KIMS Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the nursing team within outpatient and clinical settings. You will help ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate care aligned with the KIMS vision of championing healthcare at its best. This role is ideal for someone patient‑focused, adaptable, and committed to excellent standards of care and patient experience.

Main

Responsibilities
  • Support patients before, during and after clinic appointments, ensuring comfort, dignity and reassurance at all times.
  • Monitor and record basic clinical observations such as temperature, pulse, respirations and weight, maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Assist with patient admission and registration processes and act as a chaperone when required.
  • IVE
  • Champion infection prevention and control, patient safety, confidentiality and KIMS values in all aspects of your work.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) and a minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a care environment within the last 3 years.
  • A caring, compassionate approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
  • Flexibility to work across different departments and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic IT/keyboard skills.
