American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring 2 years of critical care experience and multiple advanced certifications.
Details- Work in the ICU with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule: 4x12 hours, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Required to work the Labor Day holiday and weekend rotation
- No floating required
- Uses Meditech Expanse EMR
- Active IN or compact RN license required in-hand prior to start
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
- Preferred certifications: CCRN, CMSRN, or RN-BC
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Meditech charting experience strongly preferred
- Skilled in IV therapy, central/arterial/PICC line management, and blood product administration
- Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and respiratory care preferred
- Experience managing patients with CRRT/CVVHD and renal conditions preferred
- Experience with neurological care including EVD, ICP monitoring, and stroke management preferred
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Provide critical care nursing in a Medical, Neuro, or Surgical ICU setting
- Experience with Trauma Level I or II patients preferred
- Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
- Call-outs permitted only if more than a week's notice is given
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within an 80-mile radius
- First-time travelers considered depending on experience level
- Required to indicate holiday availability prior to consideration
- Pending state licenses not accepted
