We are delighted to be partnering with a leading educational establishment to recruit an HR & Recruitment Administrator. This is a pivotal role within a busy, friendly HR team, offering the perfect opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Education HR and compliance.
Whether you are an experienced HR Administrator or a professional Coordinator looking to transition into the education sector, this role offers a blend of process-driven compliance and face-to-face interaction.
The Opportunity
You will be the heartbeat of the recruitment process, ensuring every candidate has a seamless experience and every new hire meets the highest standards of safety and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Coordination:
Draft engaging advertisements, job descriptions, and person specifications. You will manage the end-to-end application process, from acknowledging CVs to preparing shortlisting packs.
Interview Management:
Devise interview schedules, coordinate diary availability, and manage all logistics including room bookings and catering.
Candidate
Experience:
Act as the face of the establishment on interview days-welcoming candidates, supervising assessments, and conducting essential qualification checks.
Regulatory Compliance:
You will conduct vital vetting checks (DBS, Right to Work, and Prohibition checks) to ensure full regulatory compliance.
Employee Lifecycle:
Manage the "New Starter" journey from file setup to probation tracking, as well as coordinating all leaver processes and exit actions.
HR Administration:
Act as the first point of contact for staff queries, maintain digital and physical filing systems, and provide general administrative support to the Director of People.
The Ideal Candidate
Highly Organised:
You can juggle complex interview schedules and compliance documents without breaking a sweat.
Attention to Detail:
You understand that in an educational setting, "getting the paperwork right" is critical for safeguarding.
Communication:
You possess an excellent telephone manner and can draft professional correspondence.
Tech-Savvy:
You are comfortable using Excel to an intermediate level, along with other MS Office applications.
Professionalism:
You handle sensitive personnel information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
Background:
Worked in HR before and ideally, education
