Our client in Shaftesbury is searching for production operatives to join their team on a temp to perm basis.

Shift pattern of 4 on 4 off Days or Night Shift available.

6am-6pm or

6pm-6am.

As a Food Production Operative, you will be integral to the efficient and safe production of food products. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, your core responsibility will involve adhering to food production processes while ensuring compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP. Your mechanical knowledge and basic math skills will support the operation of machinery and accurate measurement of ingredients. The organization expects you to maintain a clean workspace and contribute to a team-oriented environment, ultimately ensuring high-quality food products for our customers.

• Operate food production machinery and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
• Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations for ingredient measurements and inventory management.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines effectively.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with equipment as needed.

• Proven experience in food production environments
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain production equipment
• Basic math skills for inventory management and quality control
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safety protocols
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
