Role OverviewOrbit ISS is URGENTLY looking for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer (HVDC) to lead CE marking, EU regulatory compliance, ATEX / PED / MED certification, and DGUV V3 alignment for HVAC and E&I systems. This role includes full oversight of certification activities, vendor compliance validation, and management of technical documentation for offshore HVDC systems.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with EU directives (Machinery, LVD, ATEX, PED, MED, CPR).
- Validate vendor equipment certifications and documentation.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, vendors, and certification bodies.
- Lead risk assessments and prepare Declarations of Conformity (DoC).
- Maintain compliance matrices, technical files, and traceability documents.
- Oversee DGUV V3 and ATEX requirements for E&I.
- Support HVAC self-certification and MC / ITR handover.
- Track certification status and identify compliance gaps.
- Provide training on CE marking and regulatory requirements.
- Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years in CE marking, certification, or regulatory compliance (offshore / renewables / HVDC preferred).
- Strong knowledge of EU safety legislation (ATEX, PED, MED, CPR, DGUV V3).
- Experience with DoC / CoC validation & technical file preparation.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and risk assessments.
- Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
