Electrical Site Engineer

Manages all electrical aspects of construction projects, from overseeing installation of power systems, lighting, and low/high voltage (LV/HV) to ensuring compliance with safety and local codes (like DEWA), troubleshooting, managing subcontractors, conducting inspections, and preparing reports, bridging design with on-site reality for efficient, safe project completion.
Key Responsibilities- Supervision:
Oversee daily electrical site works, including wiring, circuitry, power distribution, and equipment installation. - Compliance:
Ensure all work meets NEC, IEC, DEWA, or other relevant electrical codes and standards. - Quality Control:
Conduct inspections, testing (e.g., continuity, IR testing), and commissioning of electrical systems. - Coordination:
Liaise with main contractors, subcontractors, design teams, and project managers. - Documentation:
Prepare daily reports, progress updates, as-built drawings, and technical documentation. - Problem-Solving:
Troubleshoot site issues and resolve technical challenges. - Safety:
Implement and maintain strict site safety protocols and risk assessments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, blueprint reading.
- Strong understanding of power systems, distribution, wiring, testing.
- Project management, scheduling, and leadership abilities.
