Senior Estimation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer – MEP to join our team in Sharjah on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a key role in the accurate estimation, cost control, and tendering of MEP projects
, ensuring competitive and compliant bids in line with client requirements and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed MEP cost estimates, BOQs, and tender pricing for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works
• Review tender drawings, specifications, and contractual documents to identify scope, risks, and value engineering opportunities
• Perform quantity take-offs, material take-offs, and labor cost analysis
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and conduct technical and commercial evaluations
• Develop preliminary budgets, cost plans, and feasibility estimates for ongoing and upcoming projects
• Analyze project costs, overheads, and margins to ensure accurate pricing and profitability
• Assist in post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and finalization of contracts
• Support project teams during handover by providing detailed cost breakdowns and clarifications
• Maintain historical cost data and benchmarking for future tenders

Qualification and Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred)
• Minimum 8+ years of UAE experience in MEP estimation and tendering
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, specifications, and local authority requirements
• Proven expertise in preparing BOQs, cost estimates, and tender submissions
• Proficiency in estimation software, Excel, and AutoCAD
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Experience in residential, commercial, high-rise, or mixed-use projects is an added advantage
