Job Objective:
Contributing to technical delivery of engineering excellence through:
- Executing assigned scopes of work
- Providing discipline expertise to the business
- Supporting and supervising task delegation to team
- Uses technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce engineering deliverables including complex problems. Completes almost any engineering tasks with minimal guidance and direction. May serve as the primary discipline engineer or discipline technical authority on projects with small to medium complexity
- Performs engineering assignments, usually representing a significant portion of a larger project. Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and makes design recommendations
- Requires mature professional knowledge in planning and conducting assignments having scope for coordination of difficult tasks
- Applies specific area(s) of expertise in own discipline area
- In consultancy businesses, may review and manages complex projects within area of expertise or of a multidisciplinary nature
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Executing Assigned Scopes of Work:
- Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment
- Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects
- Ensures successful completion of the assigned project/phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
- Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work
