This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join our UAE Business Unit. This role is full time residential role based in Sharjah, UAE.

• Contributing to technical delivery of engineering excellence through:
• Executing assigned scopes of work.
• Providing discipline expertise to the business
• Supporting and supervising task delegation to team
• Uses technical knowledge to perform engineering assignments and produce engineering deliverables including complex problems. Completes almost any engineering tasks with minimal guidance and direction. May serve as the primary discipline engineer or discipline technical authority on projects with small to medium complexity.
• Performs engineering assignments, usually representing a significant portion of a larger project. Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and makes design recommendations
• Requires mature professional knowledge in planning and conducting assignments having scope for coordination of difficult tasks
• Applies specific area(s) of expertise in own discipline area
• In consultancy businesses, may review and manages complex projects within area of expertise or of a multi-disciplinary nature

• Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment
• Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects
• Ensures successful completion of the assigned project/phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
• Participates in defining engineering approaches, and in planning and scheduling work
• Evaluates problems, organizes investigations and establishes general performance specifications for components, equipment, systems, processes, etc.
• Check Engineering calculations as well as check all drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards;
  Assist with the development of less senior Technical Professionals
• Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific procedures and provide feedback for continuous improvement
• Participate in audits and incident investigations as required
• Performs complex engineering tasks related to specific units of major projects
• Participate in site visits, project review meetings, design reviews and other workshops as required
• Organising and active participation in design reviews
