We are hiring a General Insurance Underwriter for a leading insurance broking company in Sharjah. The role requires 5-7 years of experience and focuses on assessing risks and determining insurance policy terms.

• Risk Assessment:
  Evaluate insurance applications to determine risk levels and decide on coverage and premiums.
• Policy Underwriting:
  Analyze data to underwrite policies for clients in Dubai and the GCC region.
• Client
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work with brokers and clients to understand insurance needs.
• Regulatory Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to UAE insurance regulations.
• Market Analysis:
  Stay updated on insurance market trends in Dubai and GCC.

• Experience:
  
  5-7 years in insurance underwriting, preferably in general insurance.
• Education:
  
  Relevant degree in insurance, risk management, or related field.
• Skills:
  
  Strong analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Knowledge:
  Understanding of UAE insurance regulations and GCC market.

Work Location:

Dubai (though initially specified as Sharjah). Immediate joiners are preferred.
