Job Overview
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Restaurant Cashier to join our team. If you have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and can handle transactions accurately, we’d love to have you on board!
Responsibilities- Greet customers and take orders in a friendly and professional manner
- Handle cash, card, and online payment transactions accurately
- Issue receipts and return change as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier counter
- Assist with customer inquiries and resolve basic complaints
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for order fulfillment
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of shifts
- Follow company policies and hygiene standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is a plus
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Presentable, honest, and trustworthy
- Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
