Overview

Truck Driver – Sharjah, UAE (Preferred for Indians/Malayalees, English Speaking)

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate should have a valid driving license and be familiar with the routes in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate should be able to operate trucks efficiently and safely, comply with all applicable traffic laws, and communicate effectively with other drivers and customers.

• Safely drive a truck along predetermined routes in accordance with time schedules
• Operate trucks in compliance with applicable traffic laws and safety regulations
• Monitor vehicle performance and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, etc. to ensure that everything is in good working order
• Load and unload cargo while adhering to security protocols
• Maintain accurate logbook records of vehicle inspections, trips and repairs
• Communicate with dispatchers about delivery instructions or any delays caused by traffic or breakdowns
• Prepare documents like bills of lading, manifests, invoices or other paperwork required for delivery purposes
• Establish good relationships with customers by providing exceptional customer service

• Valid driver’s license (preferably Class
  
  A)
• Ability to adhere to timings and schedules
• Good knowledge of national road network
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects
• Familiarity with computers for electronic logging devices

• At least 3 years of prior experience as a truck driver
• Familiarity with safety rules and regulations
• Indians/Malayalees nationality preferred
• Excellent command of English language
