- Manage and oversee the transhipment operations for shipments between different regions, with a primary focus on Europe.
- Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of goods through transhipment hubs, managing both inbound and outbound logistics.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the transhipment process
, reducing delays and improving cost-efficiency. - Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and port authorities to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
- Supervise and manage a team of logistics professionals
, providing guidance and training to ensure high levels of performance. - Negotiate contracts with shipping lines, freight forwarders
, and other service providers to secure competitive pricing and quality services. - Track and monitor shipments, resolving any delays, issues, or discrepancies in the transhipment process.
- Analyze and report on logistics performance, recommending improvements in processes, systems, and technology.
- Ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations, import/export laws
, and any other relevant trade regulations. - Develop contingency plans for potential delays or disruptions in the transhipment chain.
- Ensure that the warehouse management

- Minimum 8 years of experience in transhipment logistics with a strong focus on the European region
. - In-depth knowledge of European shipping routes, customs regulations
, and supply chain practices. - Experience with freight forwarding

, and managing logistics teams. - Proven ability to develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize cost, time, and efficiency.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills

- Proficiency in logistics management software
