We’re looking for a Customer Order Processor on a maternity‑cover contract to manage end‑to‑end B2B order processing for our customers (retailers). Using your strong attention to detail, you’ll ensure accuracy and timely dispatch, and provide excellent customer service throughout the order lifecycle. The role involves coordinating with internal teams, third‑party logistics providers, and customers to resolve issues, maximise order fulfilment, and meet targets.
You should have strong communication skills, the ability to work efficiently across multiple systems, and be comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Process all B2B orders end‑to‑end:
- Order placement – making all necessary checks such as correct codes, prices, and quantities
- Ensure maximum fulfilment of all orders
- A timely dispatch as per the customers’ requirements
- Collate collection documentation and work with relevant teams to ensure the customer has all paper needed for collection/registration
- Provide customers with updates on the order status and delivery information
- Adapt to and use different customer portals where needed for order placement/delivery bookings
- Answer general queries from customers regarding orders and stock
- Work closely with our 3PLs
- Process customer returns
- Resolve any issues that arise:
- Discrepancies – track and monitor until closure
- Delays
- Incorrect items or damaged goods
- Coordinate with departments to ensure all orders are dispatched within the month to hit monthly sales targets
- Process tester orders/kits onto the system and collaborate with relevant departments to complete them
- Process transfer orders between different warehouses where needed
- Process production orders for direct‑to‑customer shipments (directly from factory)
- Process samples for customers
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient with various customer portals and ideally Net Suite ERP system
- Problem‑solving skills and ability to resolve issues effectively
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Previous experience in order processing or customer service
- Knowledge of B2B operations and logistics
- Experience working with 3PLs and supply‑chain partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
