About the Role

An established accountancy practice in Sheffield is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, client contact, and working across multiple sectors.

• Prepare and review accounts, VAT returns, and tax returns.
• Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting for clients.
• Handle payroll and ensure compliance with HMRC requirements.
• Provide business and tax advice to clients as needed.
• Support start-ups and SMEs with compliance and planning.

• Minimum 4 years experience in an accountancy practice.
• AAT / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards, VAT, and tax compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple clients.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
