An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Administrator within the People Services team in Transactions.

People Administrator DBS

Hours / Work Pattern:
Full Time, 37 Hours per week (Flexi Time).

Contract:

12 months Fixed Term Contract.

Base:
Command HQ, Eyre Street, Central Sheffield + Hybrid working.

Salary: £25,583 – £25,989 (Grade
3).

Responsibilities
  • Support the provision of a high‑quality, efficient, customer‑focused service in processing DBS checks for current and prospective employees.
  • Apply administration procedures and systems to deliver a quality transactional people service.
  • Act with honesty, integrity and respect, reflecting our values and aspirations.
  • Contribute to making South Yorkshire safer and stronger through passionate people and HR practice.
Qualifications
  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Good understanding of people processes, particularly criminal records checking.
  • Proven experience in applying administration procedures and systems to provide a quality transactional people service.
