Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a highly successful construction company based in London, working on multiple ongoing projects with values up to £125M. Reporting to the Commercial Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, in collaboration with architects and clients.
  • Managing valuations, variations, subcontractor measurements, and payments, along with monthly job costings for director review.
  • Conducting cost analysis for repair and maintenance projects.
  • Performing risk, value management, and cost control assessments.
  • Advising on procurement strategies.
  • Identifying and responding to commercial risks.
  • Preparing and analyzing tender costings.
  • Allocating work to subcontractors.
  • Analyzing outcomes and preparing detailed progress reports.

    • Strong time management, communication skills, computer literacy, and report writing abilities are essential. Candidates with at least 10 years of QS experience will be considered. Please send your CV to Sarah Kennedy.
