BIM Manager needed for UK wide architectural practice - various locations will be considered

This RIBA chartered, award-winning architectural studio established for more than 60 years, is seeking a skilled and forward-thinking BIM Manager to lead and evolve their Building Information Modelling (BIM) processes across all project stages and teams.

They deliver innovative, sustainable, and high-quality design solutions across a diverse portfolio, including residential, healthcare, transport, education, commercial, industrial, and urban design sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop & Implement BIM Standards:
    Maintain and enhance BIM protocols, templates, and workflows aligned with industry standards.
  • Project BIM Coordination:
    Manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring model integrity and collaborative workflows.
  • Model Quality Assurance:
    Conduct audits, clash detections, and quality control reviews.
  • Training & Support:
    Provide hands‑on BIM training and mentorship to project teams.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure seamless digital coordination.
  • Technology Management:
    Evaluate and implement new digital tools to enhance project delivery.
  • Reporting:
    Produce BIM progress reports and manage data deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
What they're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a BIM Manager or Senior BIM Coordinator in an architectural or multidisciplinary practice.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM collaboration platforms (e.g., BIM 360).
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 19650 standards.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead BIM strategies on large‑scale, technically complex projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with data management tools is a plus.
