Signs Express (Sheffield / Rotherham) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Experienced Sign Maker . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to progress their career and to play an integral part in developing and growing our team.

    Full-time position, 40 hours a week, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday

The ideal candidate will have a full range of skills and experience including :

  • Be an experienced Sign Maker and have 2-3 years’ experience in signage production and installations, covering all types of signage and including good knowledge of manufacturing and installation techniques.
  • Have good creative and technical design skills and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator.
  • Be able to demonstrate previous customer facing experience, including experience of carrying out site surveys and producing quotations.
  • Ability to interpret design and project briefs accurately.
  • Have experience of good health and safety practice.
  • Be an excellent communicator and relish the opportunity to work within a small, highly motivated team.
  • Be highly flexible in approach, self-motivated and confident to work on own initiative.
  • IPAF / PASMA / CSCS accreditations desired but not essential as training will be given.
  • Full, clean, diving licence essential.

Successful applicants will be enthusiastic, able to work on their own initiative, be flexible, a great team player, well organised and have a good understanding of the importance of health and safety.

Working Hours

The hours of work are normally 40 hours a week, 8.30am – 5.00pm Monday – Friday, and from time to time you may be required to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
