The Role:

As a Civil Technician, you’ll play a key part in the civil engineering team, responsible for high-quality 2D and 3D modelling, drawing, and detailing across a wide range of projects—including highways, education, commercial, residential, industrial, energy, and petrochemical sectors.

Key responsibilities include:

Creating and managing BIM models and CAD drawings to a high standard
Setting up and maintaining common data environments (CDEs) per BIM protocols
Working across multiple projects simultaneously
Collaborating closely with engineers and other disciplines
Supporting and mentoring junior staff
Continuously improving processes and contributing to a knowledge-sharing culture

✅ What They’re Looking For:
HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline
2–3 years of experience in civil engineering with BIM/CAD focus
Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, Civil 3D, and Info Drainage
Experience using or a willingness to learn Autodesk Revit
Competency with survey data integration and CDEs
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines
Full UK driving licence
